The original metric tap & drill index was invented by Huot Manufacturing and are still made in the USA. These handy, all-steel index cases are designed to hold the tap & drill securely by the shank to help protect cutting edges. Each panel folds into the box like the pages of a book making them compact enough to easily fit in a standard toolbox drawer. Each size is permanently identified with raised characters for easy reading and the decimal eqivalent is provided as well. Having the appropriate sized drill directly beside the tap makes the job go quicker and helps prevent errors when tapping a hole. Holds Metric Tap and Drill sizes 2.5mm x 0.45 2.05 to 12.0mm x 1.75 10.20 MM taps
