Carbide tipped drill bits can be run at speeds 2 to 2 1/2 times faster than regular high speed drill bits and create a better hole finish. Use on cast aluminum, bronze, cast and ductile irons, fiberglass, hard plastics, and other abrasive nonferrous metals. Not recommended for soft steel. Bits have a high speed steel body and bright finish. Drill shank diameter is the same as the drill bit size.
