This crystal-clear and flexible tubing resin meets USP Class VI requirements. TYGON microbore tubing is stiff enough for easy handling, yet soft enough to reduce punctures. Thread tubing through needles or slip it over narrow gauge hypodermic needles. has good elastic memory—use with low-flow peristaltic pumps. maimum working temperature is 185°F (85°C); becomes brittle at -25°F (-31°C). Sterilize by steam autoclaving for 30 min at 15 psi or by using chemical or gas methods. Tensile strength is 2700 psi; durometer hardness is Shore-A 83.
