This Type 213.40 gauges feature an integral Bourdon tube which is soldered or brazed directly into the one-piece case/socket. Application includes: Intended for adverse service conditions where pulsation or vibration exists. Hydraulics and compressors. Special features: vibration and shock resistant, solid forged-brass case and socket, pressure ranges up to 15,000 psi. Working pressure- steady: 3/4 scale value, fluctuating: 2/3 full scale value and short time: full scale value. Operating temperature- Ambient: -4 degree F to +140 degree F (-20 degree C to +60 degree C) - glycerine filled, -40 degree F to +140 degree F (-40 degree C to +60 degree C) - silicone filled. Medium: max. +140 degree F (+60 degree C) - soldered system, max. +212 degree F (+100 degree C) - brazed system. Temperature error: Additional error when temperature changes from reference temperature of 68 degree F (20 degree C) +/-0.3 percent for every 18 degree F (10 degree C) rising or falling.
