If more illumination is required, we recommend upgrading to the AM3011 with 8 LED lights or the AM3011T with 8 LED lights and Microtouch technology which allows instant capture of photos and video by simply touching the top of the unit.
In our opinion a key feature of the AM2011 package is the excellent color resolution which is unparalleled at this price point. It is better than most, more expensive digital microscopes and is achieved by use of a sophisticated jeweler's color balance. The focus mechanism is intriguing. With the microscope placed directly on a specimen, the Dino-Lite focuses at 50x or with a spin of the convenient thumb dial, at 200x. You can vary the magnification by raising the microscope to different heights above the specimen.
