The Hanna Instruments HI 86301N is a waterproof multi-parameter meter for measuring electro-conductivity (EC), and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).
The meter features a large LCD screen for readability, and automatic temperature compensation to eliminate the need for additional calculations. Calibration is manual at one point.
TDS range is 0 to 1999 ppm + or - 2% F.S, with resolution 1ppm. The meter operates on one 9V battery, and features the battery error prevention system to prevent erroneous readings. Dimensions are 164 x 76 x 45 mm (6.4 x 3.0 x 1.8’’), and weight is 250 g (8.8 oz.).
