Vermont American taps and dies are tooled to the most exacting specifications to ensure that bolts fit tightly and anchor securely. Taps are rust and tarnish resistant for greater durability and more accurate fitting.
Made of super-tough carbon tool steel to exacting specifications, heat treated and tempered. Furnished in right hand threads with most sizes coming in special bright, hard chrome finish. Rust-resistant and will not tarnish. Eight to ten threads chamferedfor easy threads starting in tough materials. With size drill to use permanently on every tap.
