Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These ring magnets have an outside diameter of 2 1/4 inch (2.25) x an inside diameter of 1.215 inch x a thickness of 1/16 (0.0625) inch. They are composed of grade 42 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Their individual pull force is approximately 11.4 lbs.
