Industrial quality High Speed Steel drill bits are specially manufactured to produce smooth holes in acrylic. The 80 degree special tip angle allows for gradual penetration of material thus eliminating damage to back side of material. Special 0 degree rake angle and cutting edge clearance of 10 degrees, produces the smooth CHIP FREE hole required when working with acrylics and other plastics. All drills have straight shank.
