The Oakton 35613-01 Acorn pH 5 is a handheld, waterproof, and dustproof meter that measures pH and temperature, and has push-button calibration capabilities up to three points for a wide range of results. A portable meter is commonly used to measure the pH of substance in water treatment and swimming pools in hydroponics, aquaculture, and educational applications.

This meter features ATC for accurate readings in fluctuating temperatures, and auto-buffer recognition of USA, NIST and pure water buffer values for quick calibration. It has a large, digital LCD display of pH and temperature for ease of viewing. It comes with a protective rubber boot for protection against drops, dings, and environmental conditions, which has a built-in stand for ease of use. It has a “hold” function for reading and recording, and an “auto-off” function that turns the meter off after 17 minutes of nonuse. Calibration instructions are printed on the back of the meter for quick reference.

The 35613-01 has ATC from 0 to 100 degrees C (32 to 212 degrees F), and works in an operating temperature of 0 to 50 degrees C (32 to 122 degrees F). It has three-point automatic calibration at three US buffer values of US 4.0, 7.0 or 10.0. pH range is 0.00 to 14.00, resolution 0.01 pH, accuracy + or - 0.01. Temperature range of 0.0 to 100 degrees C, resolution 0.1 degree C, accuracy + or - 0.5 degrees C, calibration offset 0.1 degree C increments. Its dimensions are 5.5 (l) x 2.7 (w) x 1.3 (h) inches (5.75 x 2.75 x 1.37 cm) and it weighs 0.9 lb. The meter works with four 1.5-V AAA batteries (not included) for up to 70 hours of continuous use.
